Join me for a five-night retreat to Portugal at the stunning D’Alijo Retreat Centre. Located in the village of Cabeceiras de Basto in the province of Minho, D’Alijo is nestled in a mountain across five hectares of land consisting of terraced hilltops with stunning gardens, waterfalls, rock formations, a heated pool and several hiking trails. The land is abundant with nature and places to explore and experience and it borders a national park with even more enchanting waterfalls and towering trees.
Spread over the grounds are wooden Mountain Lodges which is where we will stay. There are 3 lodges in total and they each have private single occupancy bedrooms with shared living space, kitchen and bathroom. All lodges have expansive verandas with undisturbed views of the area and premises.
Our yoga will take place in the Green Tara Shala which is positioned on the highest peak of D’Alijo grounds, just above the Mountain Lodges. The Shala has magnificent views over mountains and valleys and it has everything we need; mats, blocks, cushions, blankets and straps. We will practice twice daily with the morning session being more energetic and the evening more subtle/slow/yin-like.
This retreat is an opportunity to live the tantrik view and learn more about tantrik philosophy through somatic practices to awaken the felt-sense of the teachings.
Jessica Rosset, a Brazilian Jungian Psychoanalayst of Velvet Venus will also be joining us and she will be offering various healing sessions; these will range from Tarot Card & Astrology birth Chart readings, Shadow work and Intuitive Healing sessions which can include the above as well as Crystal Therapy, Drumming and Dream Work. Please NB the cost to book a session is in addition to the retreat fee.

Transfers to/fro Porto airport on the 3rd and 8th August at specific times

Flights to/fro - Porto is the closest airport one hour away from the retreat centre
