A journey into your embodied self | FEB 2022 | Mudra

A 2 hour yoga practice to re-enter your body and be where you are. This workshop has been created to guide you into an embodied practice of yoga; to be in clear communication with your body, to trust what your body knows and to allow the wisdom of your body to emerge as you practice.

Claire will welcome you to land fully into your body with unconditional acceptance via the tools of meditation, asana, breathwork and free form so you can experience your body as a living, dynamic and sacred being for you to intimately reconnect with. No need to bring anything other than yourself and an open attitude to explore your body and mind with others in a shared space of dedicated practice.

Previous Workshops

rest into wholeness | Jan 2022 & NOV 2021 | Mudra

“Wholeness is never either/or - it’s both/and.” Philip Shepherd.

Wholeness is a state in which your entire being is felt in harmonious unity, present to the world around you and what the body most deeply knows to be true - it belongs to the world. Yet for many of us, we live in a state of division; we are separated from ourselves, from each other and the world as a whole.

Inspired by the teachings of Philip Shepherd, this two hour workshop has been created to enable you to feel the Present through your body; beginning with a sea of OMs, we will then breathe, meditate and move together before closing with chanting. All practices have been brought together in a specific, sequential order to gradually bring you deeper into your own sense of embodiment, dissolving the boundary between self and other, head and heart as you rest into wholeness.

Spinal unwind | APRIL 2021 | Mudra

The spine is the centre of our intelligence and wisdom, energetically pulsing through the middle of our bodies. We have the potential to enliven our spine so it can be free to move in the most fluid of ways, and this workshop has been created to reawaken our connection to this central axis of our body.

Through a combination of free and flowing movements, breathwork, asana and meditation, this 2 hour practice will invite you to embody your spine and you will leave with a better understanding of how to move with more spinal awareness. Once you learn to move from the origins of your spine, it changes your practice entirely; your breath is free, your body waves and you move as one whole piece.

I'm so excited to bring the fruits of these practices to you in a 2 hour workshop; what I'll be sharing has really helped shape my movement practice and I hope they will bring you closer into feeling the more subtle, energetic layers of movement.

Sadhana workshop | Jan 2021 | Mudra

Every day we are supposed to go through self evaluation and this is what Sādhanā is, it is your daily spiritual practice. Sādhanā shapes our ability and capacity to show up with all of our Self in our everyday lives and relationships. By committing to a dedicated spiritual practice, we can change our habitual, unconscious habits and live a life with awareness that is grounded in our own state of being.

In this 2 hour workshop, Claire will guide you through useful tools such as meditation, kriya, pranayama, asana and journaling to help shape your dedicated spiritual practice. You will learn how to establish a regular home Sādhanā and will leave with a better understanding of what works for you to help you commit to your practice.

Due to the practice of the kriyas please do not eat 4 hours prior to the workshop but please do bring a light snack/fruit to eat before we shift into Asana. Please also bring pen and paper/journal to connect yourself to your pages via journaling prompts and for any note taking.

the ground of being | Jan 2021 | Mudra

We are all embodied. This is what we are. Every single second, every single day we are in our bodies but sometimes we forget.

In a world which is demanding that we feel so much, it’s important to bring our awareness into what is truly present in our body and being. This means getting out of our heads and back into our bodies to restore balance and to become more centred within ourselves.

Through the practice of breathwork, asana and meditation, we will clear out stagnant energy, ground and land in our body, and align body, mind and emotions so we can feel grounded and at home, each of us in our own bodies, where being can be felt.
